Sales Talent with a Protein Science Background (m/f/d)
Building customer relationships by understanding both short-term and long-term needs/ goals to best position Cube Biotech‘s products
Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts
Be the point of contact for our product customers and provide scientific support for inquiries via email, chat and phone
Achieve sales targets through application of consultative selling methods
Work closely with the full Commercial Team to ensure we provide a coordinated approach to customers and promote all the solutions Cube Biotech can provide.
Customer visits will include approx. 10-20% of working time
Ensure that customers understand the value proposition, features & benefits, competitive advantages, and applications of all relevant products
Be in contact with the people in the lab to discuss scientific questions from our customers
Research on customer-specific topics, mainly in the field of „membrane proteins “
Represent Cube Biotech at trade fairs (internationally)
Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space and with 2+ years selling in related market and space.
Understanding of customer workflows and the applications supported in research, development, and production of pharmaceutical drugs and biologics
Broad understanding of a variety of scientific techniques and research areas of interest (e.g., Affinity Chromatography, Membrane Protein Stabilization/Solubilization; Cryo-EM; Biophysical characterization methods like MST, SPR, AS-MS, BLI)
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on understanding buyer needs and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Ability to map key accounts, identify business potential, and execute territory business plans.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving
Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint and HubSpot a plus
Capable and interested in working in a team environment
Highly motivated, independent, with a strong desire to succeed.
A full-time position (40 hours per week) with the possibility of flexible working hours to a certain extent
