About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and versatile Account Executive who’s ready to accelerate our growth in the B2B enterprise software space. What you will do:
Full-Cycle Sales Leadership
* Prospect & Generate Leads: Identify and qualify relevant thought leaders in new and existing high-value enterprise accounts, expanding UMH’s footprint in the manufacturing sector.
* Develop & Nurture Relationships: Engage with C-level and key stakeholders to build trust and identify strategic growth opportunities.
* Product Demonstrations: Conduct tailored demos and workshops to highlight UMH’s unique capabilities, guiding potential clients through complex data challenges.
* Negotiate & Close Deals: Own the entire sales cycle - from initial pitch and proposal to final contract negotiations - ensuring seamless handoff to post-sales teams.
Consultative Expertise
* Understand Customer Needs: Analyze customer challenges related to data management and translate these into clear, technical solutions using our platform and complementary IT infrastructure products.
* Recommend Best Practices: Share insights on industry trends and use cases, helping clients optimize data strategies in their factories.
* Collaborate for Success: Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver holistic solutions that exceed client expectations.
YOUR PROFILE
* Proven Sales Experience: 2+ years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales (manufacturing or industrial tech background is a big plus!) Fluency in both English and German.
* Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong executive relationships. Fluency in both English and German.
* Relationship Builder: Able to establish trust quickly and navigate complex buying processes with multiple stakeholders.
* Technical Acumen: Comfortable explaining high-level IT/OT data solutions and bridging the gap between business needs and engineering teams.
* Results-Driven Mindset: Motivated by closing deals and exceeding targets while maintaining integrity and delivering real customer value.
* Team Player: Collaborative approach; willing to share ideas, learn from others, and contribute to a fast-moving startup culture.

About us
Bridging the computer and factory worlds, we empower engineers with best in class IT and OT tools. Factories worldwide produce millions of data points per second, but managing this data, especially in manufacturing, is complex due to challenges like navigating demilitarized zones, poor internet connections, controlling real-world operations, and requiring non-IT expert handling.
We have been bootstrapped since the founding a couple years ago, so we were able to grow naturally because of our customers buying the product. A couple weeks ago, we decided to further fuel that growing and decided to take in the German investor Freigeist / Frank Thelen.
