Role:
The Senior Underwriter position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to elevate their skills within our dynamic and progressive organization. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in driving the achievement of our objectives for profitability, growth, service excellence, and producer relations, specifically focusing on Financial Lines products within Germany.
Your main responsibility will be to act as a senior technical underwriter, bringing your extensive expertise in Financial Lines products to assess risks and make informed decisions that align with our strategic goals. Your ability to analyse complex underwriting data, identify potential opportunities, and mitigate risks will be instrumental in our continued success and expansion.
Building strong and lasting relationships with major customers and brokers is another critical aspect of this role. Candidate Profile
Skills & Competencies:
1. Financial Underwriting Expertise : Demonstrate significant experience in financial lines underwriting, along with strong technical knowledge of the German financial lines business. Your expertise in assessing risks, analysing data, and making informed decisions will be fundamental to the role.
2. Market and Product Knowledge: Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor profiles, and product offerings.
3. Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills, fostering positive connections with both internal team members and external partners.
4. Leadership Abilities: Exhibit strong leadership qualities, providing a clear vision and strategy for the team to achieve collective goals.
