MISSION OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and driven Senior Sales Director to drive and accelerate our sales growth in Germany. This leadership role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who is passionate about driving revenue growth and scaling our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Digital Solutions offerings across Germany. The ideal candidate will be an expert in sales strategy, B2B relationships, and market expansion, with a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in BPO and digital transformation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Execution:
1. Define and execute a robust sales strategy tailored to the German market, ensuring alignment with the company’s global business goals.
2. Identify key market segments, verticals, and target customers, and implement tailored approaches to penetrate these markets.
3. Lead the go-to-market efforts, including defining value propositions, sales tactics, and customer engagement strategies.
4. Directly engage in strategic sales opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and closing high-value deals.
Market Development & Client Acquisition:
1. Take ownership of building and growing the company’s client base in Germany by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various industries.
2. Build strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, stakeholders, and partners within prospective accounts.
3. Lead complex negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions to secure new business and drive revenue growth.
4. Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and systems to ensure efficiency and consistent performance tracking.
5. Manage the sales pipeline and provide regular updates on sales forecasts, opportunities, and metrics.
6. Analyze performance data and adjust strategies as needed to hit or exceed sales targets.
Market Insight & Competitive Positioning:
1. Stay current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market shifts, adjusting sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Provide insights into the German market, offering feedback on potential product or service improvements both within the BPO and digital market.
3. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen the brand presence in Germany.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
2. 10+ years of sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior role, ideally in BPO, digital transformation, or a related services industry.
3. Experience in developing and executing sales strategies that lead to measurable growth in new markets.
4. Deep understanding of the German market and its business culture, with the ability to navigate local market dynamics.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with senior-level decision-makers.
6. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving growth.
7. Fluent in German and English, to communicate effectively with local clients and global teams.
