In this system engineering intern role, you’ll have the chance to:
1. Learn about how to design power electronic conversion systems
2. Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content
3. Use broad technical expertise to influence customers’ part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition
4. Evaluate power electronic systems (hardware and software) and related documentation
5. Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancement projects
6. Provide complete documentation for each development step in building reference designs
7. Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system

Minimum Requirements:
8. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
9. Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
10. Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and semiconductor components
11. Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)
12. Knowledge of structured and/or object oriented programming (C, C++) and signal processing tools (Matlab)
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills
14. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills
16. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
17. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
18. Ability to build strong, influential relationships
19. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
20. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
