* Contact person for the CFO, ERGO International Board of Directors, ERGO Group Board of Directors, and Munich Re for all questions regarding business development, as well as for foreign companies for all controlling-related questions (Group level)
* Analysis and commentary preparation on the business development of the International segment and the foreign companies, including analysis of the actual, forecast, and planned figures, as well as the coordination of the planning process
* Review of performance drivers (e.g., changes in forecast and plan deviations, as well as analysis of cost items), coordination with companies on action plans, and tracking of their implementation
* Participating in investment projects, providing economic support and commenting on business cases, systematic monitoring of the performance of approved investment projects, including carrying out financial monitoring of initiatives
* Taking on special tasks, projects, and ad-hoc issues, preparing special analyses/evaluations when required
Your profile Experienced team player with analytical thinking skills
* Successfully completed economics or mathematical studies with a focus relevant to the task (preferably with an international orientation)
* Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position and respective area of responsibility in an internationally oriented insurance company, with good knowledge of the organization, processes, and procedures at insurance companies
* Good knowledge of methods and instruments in the areas of controlling, business analysis, and planning. Good knowledge of international accounting for insurance companies (especially IFRS 9 and 17) as well as basic knowledge of Solvency II. Strong analytical thinking skills with a very good level. Understanding of numbers and expertise in assessing complex controlling, planning, and accounting issues
* Willingness to perform with an independent, proactive, and systematic way of working, as well as a strong team spirit, quick comprehension, confident and convincing demeanor, high assertiveness, and very good communication skills
* Sound knowledge of SAP SEM BCS desired, very good knowledge of using standard Office software, ideally experience with databases (SAS, TM1)
