Could you be the full time Tax Expert (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Fabian Schöllkopf and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Preparation of VAT returns and advance returns as well as monthly tax reporting obligations.
* Participation in the processing of all VAT issues.
* Processing of tax account reconciliations and the associated reporting.
* Participation in the further development and digitalization of the VAT compliance system and tax processes.
* Processing detailed analyses of transactions to assist in dealing with enquiries from the tax authorities or the company.
* Support with tax projects and tax audits as well as with the tax registration of new and existing companies
* Participation in the calculation of the period income tax
* Preparation of periodic reports/statistics

* Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Tax or in Accounting or comparable qualification
* Experience in a Tax department (German VAT compliance rules and tax accounting)
* Experience in SAP ERP system is a plus
* Confident with MS-Office Tools (knowledge of Excel is mandatory)
* Fluent German and English is mandatory
* Independent, methodical and structured way of working
