Job Description The tasks within the thesis will consist of: Generic modelling of a RISC-V processor IP Digital Hardware Design using a Python based hardware generation framework Micro architecture variants and options, as microprogramming, scalable and variable data and address widths, CISC approaches as read memory and increment of address register. Analysis of PPA (Power, Performance, Area) of a generated RISC-V RTL Generation of processor variants and configurations for design space exploration Design optimization Applying state-of-the-art verification methods to formally verifycorrectness Application proofing of the optimized ultra-small RISC-V on FPGAand/or silicon This doctoral thesis should also study existing approaches and prove the applicability and get feedback to enhance the methodology.
