Could you be the full Site Project Planning Manager (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Matthias Müller, the Site Planning Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Manage and develop the competencies of the project planning team, allocating work effectively among team members.
* Contribute to the development and deployment of company-wide planning standards and training initiatives.
* Oversee the planning portfolio for Hennigsdorf, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Periodically evaluate and propose enhancements to the company's time management processes and promote a culture of effective time management within the project team.
* Analyze tender documentation to understand schedule management requirements, set timelines for tender preparation, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project schedule interfaces and integrate inputs into the overall project schedule.
* Identify critical paths and risks within the project schedule, suggesting optimization and mitigation actions as necessary.
* Develop high-quality schedules that meet company procedures, contractual requirements, and stakeholder inputs, while optimizing for on-time delivery and resource utilization.
* Lead regular project schedule review sessions, challenging stakeholders' assumptions and encouraging collaborative problem-solving.
* Educate project teams on scheduling issues and provide training and support to other planners to enhance their skills and understanding.

* Engineering degree
* Project management and industrial background
* Knowledge of different scheduling tools (P6, OdyC, MSProject)
* Knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the Sub-System
* Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
* English fluent, German a plus
* Good Communications and interpersonal skills
* Conflict management and multi-tasking
* Collaborative management skills
