We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the global position:
The Position:
Join Daiichi Sankyo Europe as Head of Digital Excellence to help our Specialty Medicine commercial organization to improve customer experience through the use of digital technologies. You will report into the Head EU SBU and act as the link between commercial business objectives and our analytical & digital capabilities. Your leadership and strategic guidance of highly engaged expert teams translates into better customer understanding & insights, a bespoke customer channel mix and delivery of best customer services & solutions. You closely collaborate with commercial business, medical and market access to establish the Digital Excellence department as essential partner to deliver best customer experience in HQs as well as with our Affiliates.
You combine strategic and business understanding with domain knowledge of and passion for digital health and analytics. You grasp advanced analytics as a means to identify and prioritize business value drivers (challenges & opportunities) and you ensure that our analytics span across the entire customer journey of medical professionals (and patients). Your team gains insights on all relevant touch points in order to deliver personalized services and content, which differentiates Daiichi Sankyo from other players.
You drive top performance between your teams and with commercial business: Implementation of GenAI developed commercial and medical modular content. Our CXP platform helps us to improve and monitor customer experience along the entire journey. Our Digital Innovation hub (DSPACE) helps our Commercial organization to become more competitive using digital technologies: The DSPACE team will continuously improve our ability to deploy cutting-edge customer-centric solutions and services by fostering the adoption of prototyping and testing of tools in an increasingly agile manner. This also includes the development of our first DTX as well as other prominent and new use cases in the field of GenAI, VR, and other methodologies. Your team delivers an intriguing and persuasive communication of our digital activities and services and excites our organization on the benefits of digital transformation on customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Further building out the Digital Excellence group as essential partner to deliver best customer experience and value driver for the entire organisation
* Drive better customer understanding & insights, a bespoke customer channel mix, delivery of best customer services & solutions i.e. GenAI generated Commercial and Medical modular Content through cross-fertilization between your teams and commercial business
* Identify & prioritize business value drivers (challenges and opportunities)
* Provide data analytics competence to support company wide data usage across the commercial organisation to translate deep insights into impact at scale i.e. roll out fully automated dashboards to drive efficiency
* Develop and implement our first DTx together with external partners, cross-functional HQs team and affiliates
* Oversee and manage our Customer Experience Platform and adjacent solutions to improve and monitor customer experience along the entire customer journey
* Oversee the central DSPACE to help the commercial organisation to become more competitive using digital technologies: 1) consulting regarding use case scoping, prioritization and realization, 2) provide access to technical expertise and experimentation as well as 3) provide innovation services such as sharing best practices and skills development
* Ensure that DSPACE empowers affiliates to develop scalable digital solutions (POC/MVP) for patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations through partnering or in-house development
Education & Experience:
* University degree in Business, computer or natural sciences, or similar degree
* 8+ years of proven experience in strategic, operational, digital and/or leadership positions - Preferably in a consultancy and/or a digital team/unit.
* Deployed solutions and/or services against resistance and high time & budget pressure
* Deep knowledge of digital domains, products, journeys and ability to quickly learn user demands from pain points
* High ability to translate customer needs into value adding services and solutions
* Understanding of key operational business metrics and their impact on common use cases, e.g. personalized marketing
* Entrepreneur who combines strong strategic and business understanding with passion for digital health
* Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress
* Well connected within the digital (health) ecosystem
* Strong understanding and openness to work in agile environments with multiple stakeholders
* High level of commitment, collaboration and an integrative personality
* Excellent language proficiency in English (at least C1)
* International work experience
