About the Role
Digitalization of user interfaces is accelerating thanks to the increasing adoption of TFT LCD screens. Small screens driven by cost-efficient microcontrollers (MCUs) are everywhere and this happens globally in all sectors: automotive, 2-wheelers, appliances, industrial, construction, agriculture, medical, and wearables. Qt Group has an excellent product for this domain – Qt for MCUs – that has grown significantly over the past years, featuring world-class brands such as Ducati, Bobcat Doosan, Hasselblad, Kawasaki, B/S/H/ and Bosch to mention just a few.
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and motivated Account Manager, for the region EMEA, to drive further growth of our offering for microcontrollers. Our products cover every aspect of the product creation from design to development and to quality assurance as the only provider of a complete portfolio. We are looking for an account manager who wants to build a career selling the most sophisticated UX technology in the software industry to the fastest-growing segment in user interface digitalization. A top performer who has the capability and self-confidence to get in front of the decision-makers of companies that build products in need of embedded products. This position is located either in Finland ( Espoo ), Germany ( Berlin ) or France ( Paris ).
You will:
1. Prepare high-level sales presentations at companies to get our solutions designed into their products
2. Manage and control the sales cycle from prospecting through to close
3. Gather valuable customer information on new projects, budgets and decision-makers
4. Work closely with the engineering staff since their technical input is essential for all sales opportunities
5. Work closely with Qt Group’s regional account managers to address existing customers
6. Work independently to find new leads and opportunities
7. Present our full offering at trade shows and other network opportunities in your region
About You:
8. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
9. At least 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in selling hardware or software in the consumer, industrial, automotive or IoT markets
10. Experience in sales in the embedded software domain
11. Understanding of technology and how it applies to a customer’s business is key
12. A strong team player and communicator
13. Willingness to travel regularly, for customer meetings and trade shows
14. Full proficiency in English, an additional European language would be beneficial
