About the role Serve as Rock Tech’s spokesperson and develop and lead our external affairs and communication initiatives for our international projects, particularly in Europe & North America. Focus on developing Rock Tech's brand and communication strategy, effectively conveying our objectives and achievements. Ensure the growth of our brand awareness, enhance and sustain a positive public perception, and build strong relationships with our key stakeholders in press, politics and public. In your role you will: Develop and lead the overall corporate communications strategy, including the communications calendar and the company’s master narrative Lead external affairs initiatives, such as public relations, media relations, and community engagement Serve as the company’s spokesperson, managing media inquiries and interviews Create and compose high-quality content, including press statements, website content, social media posts, insight notes & articles, and corporate presentations Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials (local and federal), community leaders, and industry partners Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business objectives, including M&A and corporate development communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms and channels Manage international collaboration with agencies and partners Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team What do you need to bring along? University degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including senior management roles in corporate communications or PR, with a focus on strategic-level performance Experience in advancing financial, M&A, or organizational change communications is highly desirable Demonstrated success in effectively dealing with the media and serving as a Media Spokesperson Experience in managing relationships with government and NGO stakeholders Experience in a start-up, scale-up, or other fast-growing environments Strong understanding of capital markets communications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively Open-minded, flexible, and proactive, with a hands-on approach to achieving challenging objectives.
