Your mission Develop new features, components and modules for our photonic computing software stack containing algorithms that connect to simulation and hardware backends Closely collaborate with our photonic computing experts to implement algorithms into a tested software library using professional software development practices Proactively apply comprehensive knowledge of design patterns to architect our photonic computing software stack Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including physicists, engineers, and product managers to define software requirements and specifications Your profile Required Qualifications M.Sc computer science or software engineering with a minimum of 1 year of industry experience or accessible github repository Proficiency in Python, C, C++ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adjust to the quickly evolving technologies and methods in the field of photonic computing, coupled with a strong desire to advance professionally and learn new things in a fast-paced, creative work environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders Preferred Qualifications In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, RUST or other low-level languages Prior experience with machine learning or numerical optimization Familiarity with high-performance computing or GPU computing and languages like CUDA Familiarity with hardware accelerators like TPUs or ASICs Familiarity with Linux environment Experience with data processing and analysis, and automation of these About us Who we are and what we do Q.ANT is a high-tech startup driving and industrialising photonic quantum technology, pushing the borders to new fields of application and processes.
