Job Description
As the Senior Account-Based & Demand Generation Marketing Manager you will take full ownership of designing, implementing, and optimizing ABM & lead generation strategies to drive engagement with high-value accounts and attract new lead to generate measurable business outcomes. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications Europe, you will ensure that all activities are closely aligned with the overall portfolio and business objectives.
Your primary focus will be on developing targeted, persona-driven marketing approaches, leveraging data and insights to optimize performance, and managing end-to-end campaign execution across digital, social, and offline channels. This role is pivotal in shaping the organization’s ABM and demand generation strategy, ensuring that marketing efforts effectively resonate with key customer segments and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
ABM & Demand Generation Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute a highly customized ABM and demand generation strategy, ensuring that each campaign is tailored to specific customer pain points and business needs.
• Work hand in hand with Sales, acting as a strategic partner to identify key accounts, understand their challenges, and co-create targeted marketing initiatives.
• Regularly exchange insights with Sales teams, adapting marketing strategies based on live feedback from customer interactions.
• Ensure that all marketing efforts contribute directly to pipeline growth, deal acceleration, and revenue generation.
Content Creation & Messaging:
• Own the end-to-end content development process, ensuring that our portfolio offerings are effectively translated into compelling, high-value content. Create engaging storytelling-driven assets, including case studies, thought leadership pieces, and campaign materials that support sales and drive engagement.
Campaign Execution & Optimization:
• Lead ABM and lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, experimenting with innovative approaches like interactive content, video storytelling, and AI-driven personalization. Continuously analyze performance data to refine targeting and messaging.
Lead Management & Data-Driven Strategy:
• Oversee lead tracking, scoring, and nurturing, ensuring smooth alignment between Marketing and Sales. Use data insights to optimize conversion and engagement strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with your team, regional marketing leaders, content creators, and global teams to ensure aligned messaging and impactful marketing execution. Foster a culture of creativity, strategic execution, and innovation.
Qualifications
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5-8 yrs) in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns, ideally in a B2B or software/technology environment.
• Languages : Fluency in German & English is required; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
Requirements
• Extensive experience in ABM & lead generation, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful, sales-aligned marketing campaigns in a B2B or technology-driven environment.
• Deep understanding of Business Development and Sales alignment, ensuring marketing efforts directly support pipeline growth and deal acceleration.
• Proficiency in Salesforce for lead tracking and performance analysis, with strong data interpretation skills.
• Strong content creation and messaging skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, audience-specific content that drives engagement and conversions.
• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities, with experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and regional/global marketing teams.
• Technical understanding of IT, software, or related industries is highly desirable.
• Proactive, creative, and innovative mindset, with the ability to experiment with new marketing approaches and formats.
