Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading scoping, design, development and implementation activities across client projects to deliver world class ServiceNow based solutions.
You must analyse new business requirements and their correct technical implementation solutions using industry best practices. You will work closely with engagement leads, project managers, business analysts, developers and testers to guide the design through to implementation and beyond whilst ensuring risk and quality standards are adhered to.
What does the job involve?
1. Lead the technical delivery of projects based on the ServiceNow platform
2. Define technical solutions (at an architectural and design level of detail)
3. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior architects and offshore/onshore development teams.
4. Deliver compelling solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform.
5. Design and deliver technical integrations between ServiceNow, client IT and business services.
6. Assist development teams in resolving complex technical issues through all stages of the project lifecycle.
7. Continuous growth of knowledge around the ServiceNow platform through certifications, internal/external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources.
8. Ability to establish deep and lasting relationships with clients and team members to enhance the reputation of DXC as an advisor of choice.
9. Build constructive, working relationships with DXC’s global network of ServiceNow resources.
10. Contribute to the development of DXC’s ServiceNow based product roadmap.
11. Ensure the project delivery team complies with DXC solution architecture standards and frameworks.
12. Operate as a member of the wider DXC community, sharing knowledge across functions and building your personal network within the company.
What do I need to succeed?
13. Proven experience in consulting / professional services and technical delivery
14. A proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on the ServiceNow platform on time and on budget as a Solution Architect.
15. Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
16. Certified Implementation Specialist in at least 2 product suites
17. Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
18. Strong expertise in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, CSS and Angular JS: Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets and UI Pages
19. Deep understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.
20. Experience with delivering solutions in complex client environments.
21. Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approaches
22. Experience of agile and traditional software and project methodologies
23. Able to communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear to influence and align stakeholders around a proposed approach.
24. Strong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple stakeholders in demanding time-critical situations.
25. Strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks to achieve your team/project/client goals.
26. Passionate about areas of expertise, managing your own development by learning continuously from experience and seeking out development opportunities.
27. Language: Fluent German and English language skills - verbal and in writing
You will need to have the ability to work from home and to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.
