This is a permanent role to be filled in full-time. Your place of work is at our HQ in Einbeck or Wohlde.
Your Tasks:
* Drive the change process to a customer centric organization
* Lead, develop and empower the sales team, while implementing a dedicated sales team steering, set objectives and KPI´s, ensure motivation and achievement
* Be an active part of the KWS Germany management team – secure a close collaboration with the Head of Country, marketing, product management and logistics. Plan and define sales objectives and action plans together with the Sales Team, after analyzing figures and results, taking into consideration deadlines, feedback, skills, market situation incl. financial and economic development, and customers’ situation, to be able to achieve national objectives.
* Planning, coordinating, and executing of all KWS sales activities for KWS Germany cross crop, while splitting overall country targets into regional contributions.
* Develop and negotiate commercial strategies and conditions for all crops on the market in close collaboration with the Head of Country
* Support the area sales team as well as the Key Account managers and align roles and objectives between them
* Ensure professional handling of customer complaints
* Design sales campaigns together with marketing department, align price offers and contracts with customers and partners
* Ensure continuous training and further development of direct reports with know-how of internal staff or external coaching
* Ensure all commercial processes, meet the KWS group requirements & guidelines
Your Profile:
* Bachelor’s / Master’s degree and/or PhD in agriculture or business administration or comparable
* Track record in successfully leading a sales team paired with strong leadership skills
* Knowledge of German agricultural market / distribution
* Strong commercial understanding & financial profit responsibility to deliver top & bottom-line results
* Very good German and English language skills
* Excellent communication, management & negotiation skills with different stakeholders
* Open-minded, positive thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset & ability to lead change
* High customer orientation
* Data analytics and reporting
