The Discovery Account Manager (North West Germany) is responsible for customer relationship across the account. Primary contact between the company and customers and grows the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.
This position reports to the Discovery AM Zone Leader and is part of the Discovery Medical OpCo located in Germany and will be fully remote.
What you will do:
* Represent Cytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for Discovery customer segments.
* Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
* Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers expectations.
* Identify opportunities and support team in developing opportunities.
* Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high level knowledge of competitive products and services.
* Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
* Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.
