For our PSR Department in Geretsried, Germany we are looking for a Specialist Product Safety & Corporate Sustainability (m/w/d).
Essential Functions of the Position
* Responsibility for sustainability certifications and reporting of Fashion Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG as well as Pulcra Chemicals GmbH
* Development, coordination and communications of realistic corporate sustainability goals
* Direct, supervise and check of internal and external activities aiming at information acquisition for corporate sustainability reporting
* Track and report of corporate sustainability achievements
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs, and when needed, recommend changes to close strategic gaps
* Prepare for audits, governmental inspections and customer visits and identify relevant data and reports needed to monitor performance and compliance against goals
* Monitor the regulatory environment and activities in the field of sustainability affecting the global business of Pulcra Group
Requirements
* At least Bachelor's degree in chemical or chemical-technical education with 2 years or more of professional experience
* Working experience in the chemical industry preferred
* Knowledge of chemical and sustainability-related legislation, such as REACH (Regulation (EC) NO. 1907/2006), CLP (Regulation (EU) No. 1272/2008), CSRD and sustainability certification schemes
* Expertise and experience in working with quality management systems
* Expertise and experience in working with SAP EHS module and CSR software tool(s)
* Strong affinity towards working with IT tools and databases
* Good user proficiency in standard office software
* Very good spoken and written English, German and/or another European language would be an advantage
* Communications skills as well as independent, diligent, result-oriented and structured way of working
