In your new position, you work on the biochemistry of new herbicide leads and targets using protein biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics and associated technologies.
You use microbial expression systems to produce, purify and measure protein function in test systems.
In addition, you are responsible for the data analysis, reporting, documentation, presentation and discussion of your results.
Furthermore, you gain experience as a scientist in an industrial setting through participation in project teams.
successfully completed PhD in biology, biochemistry or a related natural scientific discipline and ideally gained solid work experience in the research area of protein biochemistry
profound project management skills
expertise in plant biology, structural protein biology, micro- and molecular biology
familiar with techniques in your field of work like expression systems, protein purification and biophysical characterization technologies as well as processes within a research laboratory
very good communication skills in English and German
