Who are we looking for?
We are seeking for a dedicated HR Leader to provide a professional HR service for over 450 employees in Germany. This role requires a dynamic professional who can effectively work across all disciplines, ensuring a broad and comprehensive HR service within corporate policy guidelines. As an HR Leader and Business Partner, you will manage a team of three HR professionals in Germany, playing a key role in influencing managers, driving organizational development, and implementing business improvements.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR leader with a strong understanding of German employment laws, business partnering, and HR best practices within a multinational manufacturing environment.
What will you be doing?
As the HR Leader for Germany, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and comprehensive HR service. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Labor Relations & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to German labor laws, managing Works Council relations, and fostering a positive employee environment.
* Business Partnering: Collaborating with local leaders to drive organizational performance, engagement, and strategic business objectives.
* HR Leadership & Team Management: Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of HR professionals, promoting company culture and leadership excellence.
* Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Overseeing recruitment processes to attract top talent and ensure high hiring standards.
* Performance Management: Supporting performance initiatives, including continuous feedback and improvement plans.
* Training & Development: Implementing programs for employee growth, leadership development, and succession planning.
* Compensation & Benefits: Managing salary structures and benefits to remain competitive and compliant.
* HR Systems & Processes: Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and proper rollout of HR systems and processes.
* Payroll & Audit Compliance: Overseeing payroll operations in line with SOX and audit requirements.
* Corporate Initiatives & Engagement: Driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), safety, and employee engagement activities.
* General Services Coordination: Ensuring efficient daily operations in reception, HSE, and other service areas.
Who are You?
You are a proactive and results-driven HR leader with a passion for driving business success through people strategies. With strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex HR challenges, you bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Your expertise in German labor law, change management, organizational development, and employee relations makes you a trusted advisor to business leaders.
What competencies will you need?
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of HR management experience in a multinational organization with manufacturing operations.
* Strong knowledge of German employment laws, regulations and best practices.
* Experience in change management and organizational development.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with global and local HR teams .
* Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
* Fluency in both German and English.
