The Observatory of Higher Education Innovations as part of the Strategy Unit is dedicated towards research of the higher education landscape, with an emphasis on quantitative analysis of academic data and the design of interventions with measurable effects. Your responsibilities: Prepare reports, briefs and analytical responses on institutional, strategic, and academic issues relevant for Constructor University’s strategic development. Conduct research and produce high-quality publications for peer-reviewed academic journals in the field of higher education Monitor relevant grants opportunities/prepare (preferably in the following fields): the contributions of universities to SDG (including environmental sustainability and peace building/conflict resolution) AI & higher education and science. changing landscape of higher education (globally and Europe) with the focus on innovative and private HEIs. Ensure smooth project management for the implementation of the grants awarded to the Observatory (specifically ongoing Erasmus project the Green Deal for Central Asian Universities). Participate in institutional planning and development of strategies and problem solving at Constructor University. Support the Head of the Observatory in organizing the work of students’ study group on higher education innovations. Your profile: A doctoral degree in Sociology, Public Administration, Management and Economics. 3 years of relevant experience in higher education research/ consulting/ management/ analytics. Knowledge of trends and key issues of policy and practice in the field of higher education. Experience in project management. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines. Fluent in English, German is a plus.
