For our locations in Frankfurt, Berlin or Hamburg, we are looking for a Lean / BPE Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible to support the various locations in evaluating and analysing customer contracts and operational tasks using clearly defined methodological approaches.
YOUR FUTHER ROLL:
In your new role, you will report to the Manager Business Process Excellence Germany (BPE) and act as a point of contact for the responsible divisional managers with regard to the analysis, planning and optimisation of logistics processes, in particular through:
* You are responsible for analysing defined locations with regard to the exploitation of economic potential in cooperation with the location management and the operational team.
* Analysing logistics processes for inefficiencies in collaboration with the local process engineer.
* You analyse the operational implementation of contractual agreements and make a comparison with the actual logistical structural data.
* You develop proposals (operational, commercial, organisational) to improve the profitability of the site, coordinate the proposed measures with the site management and support the adoption of the action plan.
* You will analyse accounting methods, cost structures, material flow and production performance and derive opportunities for improvement.
* You will also work closely with cross-divisional and international departments and support the development and implementation of improvement measures.
THAT'S WHAT WE WANT:
* You have a degree in engineering/economics/logistics or a comparable qualification.
* You have at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, preferably in contract logistics.
* You have good specialist knowledge in the areas of lean management, project coordination and process planning and optimisation.
* You have very good knowledge of common MS Office applications (development or programming skills and a general affinity for IT applications are desirable)
* You communicate fluently in written and spoken German in combination with a good command of English.
* You have a class B driving licence.
* Your high degree of independent and structured work, your high analytical competence and your solution-orientation round off your profile.
