Your area of work:
The Derivatives & Cash Trading IT department is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of advanced trading platforms and support systems for Deutsche Börse Group's Eurex and Xetra markets, as well as for DBG's partner exchanges.
The primary duty of the Product Delivery unit is to plan, coordinate, execute, and manage a variety of tasks essential for the successful implementation of a trading platform or trading support system, software release, or new process within dynamic trading environments.
Your responsibilities:
1. Provide support in defining, coordinating, and facilitating a comprehensive array of activities essential for the delivery of systems and services.
2. Encourage collaboration and coordination among project teams, organizational units and stakeholders across different departments to help ensure efficient service delivery.
3. Monitor the progress of various activities and facilitate the presentation of project-related information and reports to management and key stakeholders.
4. Support the development and upkeep of project documentation and publications intended for both internal and external parties.
Your profile:
5. Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
6. A solid fundamental knowledge of various technical topics, including firewalls, routing, network protocols, software development and deployment. Previous experience in IT operations or software development will be advantageous.
7. A demonstrated interest or experience in project coordination or support, encompassing fundamental planning, execution, and monitoring responsibilities. Additionally, developing communication and relationship-building skills is important to facilitate effective interactions with stakeholders.
8. Developing problem-solving skills to identify issues that could affect service delivery and propose solutions within established procedures, with guidance from senior team members.
9. Effectively working within a diverse team framework, contributing towards common objectives and actively engaging in collaborative initiatives.
10. Good written and verbal communication skills in English (German would be an advantage) with the ability to assist in the preparation and presentation of complex information in a clear and concise manner.
