We’re searching for a Marketing Manager in Munich to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.
We are looking for a free-thinking, soulful and passionate brand & marketing leader to be a part of the fastest growing hospitality segment in Europe and act as the lynchpin between our Central Marketing Team and our on-property teams in the DACH region. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be key in deploying marketing activities for our properties in Berlin, Munich & Zurich.
You’ll also advise our Central Team on web page updates, assist with marketing and communications activities within the hotels, and work closely with local partners and agencies to support the commercial success of all three properties in local, national and international markets.
A role less ordinary.
1. Create and execute regional and property level marketing plans covering outdoor, social, partnerships, membership and community-based activities.
2. Development and implementation of overarching and integrated brand-led campaigns for our DACH properties to raise front-of-mind awareness and drive revenue.
3. Deployment of integrated communications activity for seasonal as well as ad hoc promotional campaigns with a particular focus on Locke at East Side Gallery (Berlin), Schwan Locke & WunderLocke (Munich) & Locke am Platz (Zurich).
4. Pinpoint new media opportunities in the DACH market which can support communications requirements to ensure that we target the right audience in local, national and international markets
5. Act as key contact between our DACH properties and our edyn Central Marketing Team.
6. Supporting the Central Marketing Team in translating and proof-reading copy for web, campaigns and other media.
7. To act as Locke brand guardian for all aspects of marketing & communications ensuring that all activities are aligned with the brand guidelines.
Who you are.
8. At least 5 years’ marketing or communications experience working in hotel sector is preferable (travel, lifestyle, retail or food & beverage sector experience also considered)
9. A strong command of both written and spoken German and English is required; additional languages an asset
10. Experience of working within the Munich area or wider DACH market
11. Strong range of connections and contacts desirable but not essential
12. Self-motivated, determination to deliver targets
13. Project management and marketing expertise across the full comms mix
14. Commercial acumen
15. Analytical mindset, with obsessive attention to detail

16. This role is a permanent, full-time position and we are looking for the incumbent to be in the role as soon as possible.
17. Based on property in Munich (but with flexibility to balance between working from home and being on property)
18. Flexibility is required to travel to Berlin and Zurich, as well as the London and Bristol offices when required
19. Our core working hours are (09:00 to 17:30), but a flexible approach will be required to support the ongoing needs of the business
