Job Description
Join Rockwell Automation and help us make impact for leading life science clients with our manufacturing and IoT software products. As Team Lead Consulting (within Professional Services MOM - Manufacturing Operations Management), you will directly and indirectly develop a team of functional solution and recipe design consultants to build reliable software solutions, based on Factory Talk PharmaSuite and other Industry 4.0 relevant software components, that are adding high value to our Life Sciences clients. In your role, you will bring individuals together and form a diverse and inclusive workplace to achieve results according to our strategic guidelines. You will report to the Manager Consulting & Training and work in a hybrid work model near our offices in Karlsruhe or Munich, Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
* You will guide functional consultants to support software implementation and consulting project delivery through use of our best practices and develop needed skills. You will support your team in career growth and manage change.
* You will lead your team through project assignment and coordination to participate in delivery projects. You will assure your team is utilized on project work.
* Oversee business/process requirements as defined by project scope; guide fit-gap analysis and feed studies and setup of reusable PharmaSuite solution configuration, architecture and functional libraries.
* You will work with the internal and external project management and implementation teams and serve as the primary contact for functional topics with customers, working with project/quality management, engineering and IT.
* Contributes to the development of the business team strategy, best practices and continuous improvement programs.
* Responsible for functional delivery of projects within the Life Sciences to meet budget, quality and standards expectations.
* Collaborates with team members to promote a positive work environment.
* Takes ownership for results and guides issues toward resolution.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
* Master's degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, information systems, physics/chemistry/biology/pharma or comparable discipline.
* 5+ years' professional experience in MES project implementation including interfaces to control system layer, ERP and LIMS throughout the project lifecycle within the Life Sciences industry.
* Experience with direct customer and third-party consulting contact.
* Passion for digitalization, manufacturing operations and advanced life science processes.
* Interest in working in an international, multicultural environment.
* Background within the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices industries.
* Knowledge in software configuration, validated software implementation (GxP and GAMP).
* Experience with FactoryTalk PharmaSuite.
* Experience with direct customer contact and supplier.
* Demonstrate business acumen.
* Excellent English and German language skills (verbal and written).
* Willingness to travel (approximately 20% of the time).
Preferred - You Might Also Have:
* 1+ year related people management experience.
* Experience with PAS-X, Opcenter, or other MES applications.
* Experience in project management.
* Understanding Rockwell Automation software delivery methodology.
* Additional language skills are an asset.
