Business Area Wind (BA Wind) is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as Solar PV and Batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind and Solar and hybrid farms in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

As Project Manager integrated Batteries, you will play a crucial role in realizing battery storage systems in our solar development portfolio. Your responsibilities will span from feasibility assessments to commissioning and handover. You will work in a self-organized team applying holocracy, ensuring collaborative efforts internally with the solar development team and externally with grid operators and other stakeholders.
Your tasks and responsibilities
* Project Development: Drive the development and delivery of projects through internal and external milestones, ensuring timely approvals and material readiness.
* Project Management: Oversee project scope, time, cost, quality, and risk management, ensuring alignment with project sponsor agreements.
* Resource Allocation: Specify and manage the required resources, including human resources, equipment, and tools.
* Team Coordination: Plan, delegate, and organize work packages and project teams for construction and commissioning phases.
* Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders such as municipalities, landowners, and grid operators.
* Safety Promotion: Foster a culture of safety, energy, motivation, and entrepreneurship within the team.
* Risk Reporting: Proactively identify and report potential deviations from agreed plans.
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms with landowners and external stakeholders in coordination with our legal team.
* On-Site Coordination: Manage contractors and on-site project coordination with a focus on safe and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications
Your profile
* Experience: Proven experience in project management and/or engineering preferably within renewable asset projects or large scale Batteries.
* Education: Academic degree in business, civil engineering, or a related field.
* Skills:
o Project management expertise, including organization, resource management, leadership, project economics, and time management.
o Ability to navigate and adapt to various environments, including political stakeholders and business partners.
o Strong problem-solving and result-oriented mindset with team player capabilities.
o Excellent communication skills, particularly in report writing and presenting complex technical issues clearly.
o Fluency in English, both written and verbal. German language skills are a plus.
