Your responsibilities
1. You represent Construction & Commissioning in proposals and contracts. You coordinate the respective interfaces to Project Management, Engineering and Procurement.
2. You manage the pre-construction activities including Construction Engineering, Material Management, QA/QC und Completion Management.
3. You develop the Construction Execution Plan in close alignment with all other disciplines.
4. You develop and maintain the site organization chart and the personnel engagement plan.
5. You are responsible for the budget of own temporary site facilities, site supervision and commissioning personnel as well as pre-construction activities.
6. You are responsible for the Construction & Commissioning input to development and award of subcontracts.
7. You responsibly manage the site mobilization. This includes the design and timely implementation of the temporary site facilities.
8. You coordinate the mobilization of subcontractors to the site.
9. You manage the assignment of personnel to the site in close cooperation with the site management and line organization.
10. You ensure operative support to the site.
11. The coordination of project close-out for Construction & Commissioning including lessons learnt is completing your tasks.
Your profile
12. You have completed a bachelor degree in engineering, preferably civil, mechanical or chemical.
13. You have gained experienced on construction sites and in construction management, preferably in the field of large size plant construction in the chemical industry.
14. We expect autonomous working in proposal and contract teams with feedback into the Construction & Commissioning department.
15. We expect you to be a convincing personality with developed communication skills able to stand up for own interests in all situations.
16. You are familiar using all types of IT in general and MS Office in particular and you have ideally already experience in working with RIT iTWO and SAP daproh.
17. We work in a multinational and work-sharing environment for clients worldwide. This includes regular alignment by electronic communication and also business trips to sites, clients, subcontractors or sister companies.
18. We expect good language skills in English and German. Additional languages, such as Spanish, French or Arabic are highly welcome.
