The Business Development Manager OEM Dye Business is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), identifying and developing new business opportunities to integrate our fluorescent dyes into their products. You will be required to stay abreast of industry trends, and market developments, while meeting ambitious sales targets and collaborating with cross functional teams. Your ability to adapt, innovate, and drive strategic initiatives will be crucial in mastering these challenges and contributing to Leica Microsystems'' continued success. This position reports to the Director Commercial Product Management LSAS and is part of the Product Commercialization located in our Business Unit and and will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs and other potential partners, negotiate contracts and agreements and build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the fluorescence dye industry, join key events and exhibitions to connect to expand network. Collaborate with the broader commercial organization and R&D teams to develop effective sales strategies and increase share gain and customer satisfaction.
