Main mission: In our rapidly expanding context, you will be responsible for the business development of the International IFS (International Functional Services) Business Unit. This Business Unit offers the world's largest pharmaceutical laboratories the opportunity to outsource one of the key scientific functions in the clinical development of their products (Data Management, Statistics & Programming, Clinical Monitoring, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance & Safety, Medical Monitoring, etc.).
In collaboration with the Sales Director, you will participate in defining the commercial strategy and will be responsible for its implementation. You will initiate prospecting and customer needs definition actions in order to build innovative offers for them. With the support of scientific and methodological experts present in the group's various entities (Europe, India and the USA), you will respond to calls for tenders of international scope. You will also work closely with our operational managers to ensure customer satisfaction; an essential element in continuing your business development.
Responsibilities:
* Define the commercial strategy of your scope with the support of the Sales Director; Build international strategic partnerships (referencing, lobbying, etc.);
* Manage the entire commercial cycle, from prospecting to signing contracts;
* Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers within your customer and prospect accounts; As a true leader, you will coordinate the response to international calls for tender by proposing innovative and tailor-made offers to the needs of your customers/prospects.
* You will also participate in the defense of your commercial offers and lead price and contractual negotiations; Be the commercial partner of our platform managers in order to ensure the satisfaction of your customers, be proactive in proposing continuous improvement and ensure the profitability of the platforms for which you will be responsible;
* Collaborate with our marketing department to promote our offers and our expertise;
* Interact with the sales teams of the other Business Lines of the group (Resourcing and Full Service) in order to create synergies on your accounts; Rigorously ensure the reporting of your commercial activity in our CRM.
Education: Graduate of a business school or higher scientific training (Bac+5).
Experience: 2 to 5 years of commercial experience in an ESN, CRO or pharmaceutical laboratory. Required skills: Proven commercial skills in prospecting, customer relations and negotiation; ideally on an international scale; Entrepreneurial spirit. Commercial profile that is both a "hunter" and a "developer"; Strong taste for international, complex and scientific offers (in the health sector); Strong attraction to working in a cross-functional and multicultural team; Excellent interpersonal skills, creative and rigorous; Ideally knowledge of the health industry sector.
Languages: Fluent English, both written and spoken, essential.
Location: Freiburg or Mannheim or Berlin. Possibility of teleworking. Occasional international travel based on business needs and collaboration with the group’s various entities.
