Technician Electronics
Full-time: Garching, Germany
Job role:
Support the development teams with testing and validation service. Build up mechanical and electrical test setups/stations and carry out application related investigations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Build up and modifying of PCB boards, assembling of components and soldering by reflow or manual process.
* Application support, measuring of luminaries, failure analysis.
* Prepare comprehensive documentation for the performed measurements.
* Perform electrical measurements based on dedicated testplans for EMI, Thermals or Surge/burst.
* Build up mechanical test setups and test stations.
* Follow and support company processes for purchasing requests out of the R&D development group.
* Listing and administration of the equipment and component inventory.
* Contribute, as per the position and role, to maintaining and improving the environmental, health, and safety system by informing and supporting the direct manager and EHS organization references on relevant topics.
Job Requirements:
* Certified technician in the field of electronics.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and measurement technology, as well as power electronics.
* Proficiency in following company processes for test and validation.
* Experience working in cross-cultural or international teams.
Skills:
* In-depth understanding of handling electronic components and mechanical processes.
* Familiarity with industry standard methodologies for product development and testing.
* MS-Office; relevant software tools for testing and documentation.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Effective communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Solution oriented, self-driven.
