The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product.
Your role and key responsibilities
* As a team leader in Quality Planning Operations, you are responsible for your team and are an integral part of Operations Quality.
* You are responsible for planning the quality activities of the factory locations within a factory network, including planning, standardizing, and rolling out specifications, processes, and standards.
* Coordinating with interface partners for all quality activities forms the basis of your planning work.
* You and your team report to the project committees in the operations department and initiate necessary escalations when required.
* Your team prepares recurring quality gate reviews and leads their implementation.
* Additionally, you develop the quality targets for the factory locations and control the achievement of goals using dashboards.
* Managing and further developing your team is part of your daily work – applying onboarding concepts for new employees and ensuring training courses are among the essentials.
What you bring to the team
* Completed studies in quality management, business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
* Several years of professional experience in the automotive or chemical industry
* Extensive experience in leading teams and employees, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
* Proven expertise in quality management and its KPIs & quality methods (e.g., APQP, PPAP, VDA Volume 4), ideally with certification as an auditor.
* Analytical and structured approach to work, coupled with strong communication and team skills
* Confident demeanor, assertiveness, and initiative in an international environment
* Fluent English skills
* Willingness to travel
