The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Regional Security Manager EMEA (m/f/*) you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Manage and implement within region Global Security programs such as crisis management, business resilience, travel security, workplace violence prevention, and emergency mass communications.
* Manage region’s response to high-risk and high impact security situations.
* Conduct assessments of international company facilities and operations, recommending industry standards and cost-effective security solutions.
* Provide leadership to guide and develop country and site level security coordinators.
* Conduct and direct complex investigations.
* Gather, analyze and apply relevant intelligence to region’s programs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification / experience from an accredited institution
* Profound experience in a corporate security and/or law enforcement environment and/or military investigative, intelligence, legal, or police role or equivalent corporate experience preferably in a risk-management function
* Profound experience conducting and/or directing investigations in either legal, EHS, counterintelligence, or criminal investigative roles
* Previous experience managing the identification and investigation of threat actors targeting protected information or technologies
* Ability to work successfully in a matrixed, multicultural, multilingual environment
* Strong interpersonal skills, integrity and discretion, with the ability to bring disparate teams together in the successful pursuit of common objectives
* Fluent English skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Leadership role in a corporate security, legal & compliance, internal audit, intelligence, counterintelligence, military, and/or law enforcement organization that includes international responsibilities
* An established network of security contacts and vendors in the EMEA region
* Experience in responding to international crises and directing an effective response
* Ability to work in a second EMEA language
* Knowledge or ability and willingness to learn physical security assessment protocols and preventative measures
* Prior experience coordinating within a regulated agency and with ethics and compliance programs
Travel: up to 25% domestic, European and international travel
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
