In your role, you will get first-hand experience in software development for automated parking functions and will be an integral part of the team that creates frameworks, toolchains and tests developed features. Our team is responsible for developing innovative solutions for automated parking, ensuring high-quality outcomes through rigorous testing and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU WILL DO Conception and implementation of algorithms regarding automated parking functions Development of 2D/3D visualization components in simulation environment Creation and evaluation of architecture concepts for scalable software modules in the area of functional logic and arbitration Data collection and analysis for functional performance evaluation of parking functions Analyse data from completed test drives and tests in simulation Design and implementation of a status monitor to observe software at runtime WHO YOU ARE Enrolled student in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or similar Strong analytical and conceptual skills in a complex software architectures and simulation environment Knowledge in object oriented programming (preferably C++) and/or script languages (e.g. Python) necessary Experience in software development projects, code versioning and testing tools Fluent in English and German Team-minded, goal-oriented and communicative NICE TO KNOW Remote work options within Germany Duration: 6 months 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break If you have further questions about the candidate journey at CARIAD, please contact us: careerscariad.technology YOUR RECRUITING CONTACT Sandra Lehenmeier
