Duties/Responsibilities: The Agile Product Owneru2019s primary responsibility is to ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the product vision, goals, and requirements. The Agile Product Owner should have at least five years of software or data engineering development and deployment using Agile methods. Major responsibilities and duties include: Product Vision and Roadmap: Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring they align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Prioritization: Prioritize the product backlog, making decisions about which features to develop, and in what order, based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Requirements Definition: Define and refine product requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and testable. Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and team members, to understand their needs, expectations, and concerns, and ensure that the product meets their requirements. Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date, refined, and ready for development, and that the development team has a clear understanding of the work to be done. Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning, ensuring that the team understands the work to be done, and that the sprint goals and objectives are clear. Feedback and Validation: Work with the development team to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and ensure that the product meets the defined requirements and acceptance criteria. Release Planning: Plan and coordinate releases, ensuring that the product is delivered to stakeholders and customers in a timely and effective manner. Data Model: Elicit from stakeholders and make recommendations to update and maintain a visual and metadata Enterprise data model. An enterprise data model is a visual and metadata representation of an organization's data, describing how data entities and the business processes that create them relate to one another. It defines the structure, relationships, and constraints of data and business processes, including entities, attributes, metadata, and data types. Data models help ensure data consistency, reduce data redundancy, and improve data integrity, making it easier to design, implement, and manage databases and improve Combatant Commander (CCMD) and Joint Director (JDIR) processes with data Qualifications: Education : Bacheloru2019s degree in computer in computer science or related field of study. Experience: This position requires a minimum of five yearsu2019 experience with servicing as a product owner with additional experience with appropriate industry standard digital tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence. Certification : maintain the current version of at least one of the following Scaled Agile Framework certifications: SAFe Practice Consultant, SAFe Practice Consultant Trainer, Advanced SPC, Agile Product Manager, or Product Owner / Product Manager. If the Agile Product Owner does not have this certification at the time he or she is identified it, then he or she must obtain it no later than 30 days following arrival to the primary place of performance. Additional Requirements : Candidate must meet Germany TESA requirements as follows: Germany: A Bacheloru2019s Degree and three (3) years of recent specialized experience; or Associates Degree and seven (7) years of recent specialized experience; or No degree and 11 years or recent specialized experience. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
