Tasks:
* Ensuring the on-time and high-quality supply of materials to production, all technical and non-technical areas of the company
* the realisation of investments on the procurement side
* Drafting and conclusion of framework and individual agreements
* Evaluation and selection of suppliers; Market and sales studies
* Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials
* Integration into cross-company purchasing projects of the parent company
* Handling of complaints
* Regular coordination with the technical interfaces (e.g. production, maintenance, technical office)
* Support for digitisation projects
Qualification:
* Completed or imminent university degree in the field of industrial engineering or specialist knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience
* Alternative:
* Successfully completed studies (preferably industrial engineer) or commercial training as well as task-related practical experience
* Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics and e-procurement
* Solid user knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system, SAP (MM) desirable
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Preference for knowledge and practical experience in contract law (purchase contract, contract for work and services, service contract,VOB/B)
* If applicable, first professional experience as a customs officer
