Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Inside Sales - North Region
The Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Inside Sales leads a team of sales representatives within a defined territory. They sell research products and services primarily through telephone communication, bringing to bear email, Internet, and other technology. This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
Design and put into action a sales strategy for a region to achieve revenue and gross margin targets based on company financial models.
Work to drive product sales to support supplier partnerships and actively promote core products and valuable services.
Own the strategic direction for the region, guiding the sales team to achieve sales goals and expand business.
Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers.
A Bachelor's degree in Science or Business along with significant and relevant, industry-specific experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry or equivalent work experience.
Strong sales management experience and validated leadership abilities.
English: Successful management experience leading teams, achieving consistent positive results. Develops business plans and sales strategies, coaches team towards goals, and motivates them to overcome obstacles and achieve success.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must; sales force software a plus.
