Who we are
We are a truly international team and proud to play a central role in securing the electricity supply for Europe. As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This is what your day will look like
* Supporting and fostering an information security culture within the company
* Maintaining, developing, and evaluating the performance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
* Supporting all required audits and implementing all the necessary actions to attain certifications in due time (e.g. ISO 27001)
* Investigating and evaluating security incidents, implementing actions to mitigate risks and addressing lessons learned
* Coaching internal and external staff regarding IT security topics
* Alignment with external service providers to develop policies, check alignment and improve standards
You come with
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT or another related field
* Minimum 5 years' work experience in information security with a very good understanding of risk and compliance frameworks
* Ideally, industry-recognized security qualifications would be beneficial (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SSCP, GIAC, ISO, etc.)
* Experience of working with external audit bodies from the planning to the hosting of audits
* Experience of internal audit (processes, people & technology)
* Business acumen as well as awareness of German laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proficiency in oral and written German and English
