WHAT YOU’LL DO Financial Close & Reporting – Supporting monthly close activities, review reconciliations, conduct variance analysis, and prepare financial statements according to HGB (IFRS knowledge is an advantage). Audit & Compliance – Assist with audit preparations, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain proper documentation. Professional Development – Improve knowledge, while growing professionally and managing projects in the finance department. Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization – Develop and implement new procedures to enhance department efficiency. Financial Analysis & Risk Management – Identify and resolve financial discrepancies while providing analytical support across departments. Mergers & Acquisitions Support – Assist in integrating new offices and companies into financial operations. Other duties assigned as needed EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant working experience in a related field required. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a corporate accounting organization. Experience in international accounting and complex matrix structures is an advantage. Previous knowledge with general ledger programs (SAGE), accounting systems and/ or financial reporting applications (TM1) is an advantage Financial Analysis & Data Modeling – Ability to analyze financial/operational data and create models. Process Improvement – Willing and motivated to driving efficiency and control enhancements. Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving – Strong analytical mindset to approach challenges with structured problem-solving. Time Management & Adaptability – Ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Technical Proficiency – Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint). Communication & Relationship Management – Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to work across all levels of the organization.
