As a Business Partner to the Supply Chain & Logistics department, you will play a critical role in supporting the decision-making process by providing high-quality data and insights. You will lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes for the department, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and inventory steering. This is a high-impact role that requires collaboration across multiple teams and the ability to provide clear financial leadership.
Your assignments
1. Serve as the Business Partner to the Supply Chain & Logistics Head and sub-department heads, offering high-quality data to support strategic decision-making
2. Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for the Supply Chain & Logistics department, including budget and forecast planning, and monthly closings
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive inventory steering process to improve inventory transparency and contribute to improved NWC results for TechOps
4. Act as the primary financial contact for the SCM department, addressing all finance-related queries
5. Prepare structured financial reports for the SCM department, ensuring compliance with both external and internal standards
6. Plan, forecast, and budget for cost centers, aligning data with cost center owners
7. Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing reports, offering detailed commentary on performance results and variances
8. Present financial results and insights to senior management during Forecast and Budget reviews
9. Maintain and optimize Personal Management Software for financial processes
10. Collaborate with TechOps Controlling to streamline and enhance processes for continued growth and operational improvements
11. Deliver ad hoc analysis and reports for senior management and other relevant stakeholders
12. Actively participate in high-autonomy projects, including system improvements, dashboard setups, and corporate-sponsored initiatives
Your profile
13. A degree in Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, Economics, Engineering Management, IT Management, or a related field
14. 3-5 years proven professional experience in Controlling, preferably as a Plant or Supply Chain Controller
15. Strong IT proficiency, with a particular focus on SAP FI/CO and SAP BW with Analysis for Office
16. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
17. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems
18. A proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently
19. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
