Primary Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing support for financial decision-making. This role involves a combination of day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analyses, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial recording and reporting
1. Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with German accounting standards (HGB) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
3. Assist in consolidation of financial data for group reporting purposes.
4. AR and AP accounting incl. expenses for several small entities (German, Swiss & Italian)
5. Reconciliation of intercompany transactions incl. recharges
Internal controls and compliance
6. Implemenst and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
7. Assist by internal and external audits

Education / Qualifications:
8. A relevant degree or qualification in accountancy, finance or business administration
9. Solid understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
10. Proven experience in Group reporting and intercompany transactions
Professional Skills/ Abilities:
11. Good knowledge of German and English in both writing and verbal
12. Excellent analytical and multitasking skills, with data-driven thinking
13. Organised, with solid administrative/reporting skills and proficient PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
