Description Completions Specialist III - Peine, Germany Weatherford are hiring a Completions Specialist to join our team during this period of growth. Depending on their level of knowledge & experience, the Field Specialist's role applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services. Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision in support of their duties and assignments. Senior and fully qualified level roles will not only provide the direction to junior specialists but will also use their extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and make recommendations to alter development and designs to improve the quality of products and procedures. Familiarity with the variety of field concepts may result in senior roles supporting research and in planning assignments and accomplishing goals. Intermediate and Senior positions will act as the key interface with the client at the well site, carrying the duties and responsibilities for completing service assignments and managing other Weatherford personnel at the well site. Senior roles will be involved with more advanced technology. Available on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions against their level of training & competence Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site Follows up failures with the R&M team and ensures failure reports are closed with clients Contribute, participate or lead equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports Where the level of the role requires, oversees, leads and mentors Field Operation crew members Intermediate and Senior level roles will perform engineering checks while on client location. This may include hand calculations, updates of software computations, or new computations based on the latest data Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field Skills and experience REQUIRED 2 ½ - 4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry High School Diploma PREFERRED Technical Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational School Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics Mathematical reasoning skills Basic Physics and Chemistry Computer fundamentals Critical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving Good reading and writing skills, strong judgment, and decision-making to be in line with policies & procedures Time management Quality Control Analysis to ensure the product meets required standards Service Orientation Information & task ordering & ability to identify when a problem may occur and, where possible, to understand the solution Excellent communication, organization, analytical, troubleshooting and teamwork skills
