Job Description
We are on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our teams within the MarTech domain of Consumer Insights & MarTech tribe on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Your work will have a direct impact on how we attract and retain customers, creating data-driven, personalized interactions that keep them coming back. As part of our Consumer Team, you’ll enhance customer satisfaction and drive global growth and profitability through innovative projects.
The MarTech domain collaborates with both central and local marketing teams to address global marketing challenges. The team’s key responsibilities include budget management, campaign optimization, and measurement. It is a cross-functional group with expertise in data science and engineering (backend, frontend, and data).
In this role you will,
1. Have technical ownership of all solutions managed by the team, overseeing the architecture and code quality alongside your team members.
2. Handle urgent issues based on the product’s tier and ensure swift resolutions.
3. Be responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members as needed for a cross-functional team. You’ll hold regular 1-1s with your direct reports and prioritize their overall well-being.
4. Manage the performance and growth of your team members, utilizing methods such as mentoring and coaching to support their development.
5. Collaborate closely with your product counterpart, you will plan and execute the team’s work, ensuring that OKRs are met. Throughout the process, you will address risks, blockers, and dependencies in a timely manner to keep the team on track.
Qualifications
6. You are an experienced engineering leader with a proven track record.
7. You have hands-on experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with machine-learning solutions and user-facing applications.
8. You’ve collaborated with product counterparts and are well-versed in agile methodologies.
9. You are capable of handling high-level topics like architecture, reliability, and cost, as well as low-level tasks such as coding and bug resolution.
10. As a bar raiser, you foster growth through code & architecture reviews, retrospectives & post-mortems, and providing constructive feedback and encouraging experimentation.
11. You have experience navigating ambiguous environments and removing uncertainty, with examples of breaking down large problems into smaller, actionable steps.
12. You are proficient in English to effectively communicate and perform your role.
Nice to have:
13. Experience with cloud services (AWS or GCP).
14. Familiarity with Python/Django, JavaScript/React, and BigQuery/SQL, along with an understanding of the DevOps environment for both engineering and machine learning solutions.
15. Knowledge of the marketing domain.
