Commercial Analyst - Hamburg/Berlin - Wind A major global renewable energy IPP are looking to expand their German based investment team to add their next Commercial Analyst. You will be stepping in to work on financial modelling, digging deep into contracts, learning facts of how projects work and how they have to be managed. As well as this you will also be looking at valuations, how they are structured, learn about project finance and have the chance to sit in on deal making calls with lenders. It is worth noting that if your skills sit more senior than the initial job description and you have skills across project finance for energy then they would still love to speak to you as this team will continue to grow Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following: Working on the financial modelling of wind projects across their investment portfolio. Project valuations. Preparing business plans and evaluations. Keeping abreast of market changes to give relevant recommendations for change of any arising issues. Working with people in Germany and globally, as well as working with investors and project partners. Sitting in on the deal makin process. Qualifications: Able to speak German and English at a written and spoken level is a must. Great IT skills for MS-Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of the German renewable energy market. This role will give you access to high level progression as the team you're stepping into are smaller compared to the size of the company. They want people who are able to be coached into learning new skills and will allow you to sit in on crucial deal making processes.
