Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced software sales environment. The role involves occasional travel in the DACH region and offers flexibility, with options to work remotely or from their headquarters in Augsburg, Germany.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Takes responsibility for the timely management, qualification, assignment, and reporting of inbound and self-generated sales leads.
* Generates a strategic overall plan for the territory.
* Builds relationships and opportunities directly with prospects and customers.
* Target Customer Group: Enterprise and government.
* Takes responsibility for the entire end-to-end sales process.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify new sales opportunities through inbound and self-generated lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
* Utilize the solution selling approach and understand customer needs and technical requirements.
* Qualify, forward, and report sales opportunities to the appropriate personnel for further development and closure.
* Research customer contacts, identify key players, and generate interest by professionally articulating Certus's value proposition.
* Maintain and expand the database of target prospects within the assigned campaigns/verticals.
* Manage, track, and report on internal lead management metrics.
* Collaborate with F500 enterprise accounts to sell Certus solutions.
Job Qualifications
* Good face-to-face and phone presence.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Proficiency with company productivity and web presentation tools.
* Experience working with Odoo.com or similar CRM.
