Abiomed Europe GmbH, Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for an Advanced Clinical Trainer (w/m/d) EMEA, located in Europe. The Advanced Clinical Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing and conducting comprehensive advanced clinical training programs related to our existing and future product portfolio, product enhancements and new indications. As the subject matter expert, the trainer will support our international clinical field teams and customers on-site during cases in OR and/or Cathlab, as well as at customer events such as conferences and other educational events throughout EMEA. The Advanced Clinical Trainer will consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and integrity. They will collaborate directly with the Manager, Advanced Clinical and Innovation Training, as well as with the local field team to assess educational needs, develop training plans, execute training sessions, and gather feedback on effectiveness and participation. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to achieve the shared goals of continuously improving patient outcomes, driving therapy adoption, and enhance clinical best practices. Additionally, the trainer will update and develop training content to support both internal clinical teams and external healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Patients First mentality, lead continuous improvement in patient outcomes and drive therapy adoption through training and enhancement of clinical best practices. Develop and execute comprehensive clinical training programs tailored to various audiences, including internal clinical teams, and external healthcare professionals. Provide expert clinical support for clinical procedures and case certifications in the OR, Cathlab and ICU. Strategically drive new product launches and customer training events in cooperation with Global Advanced Clinical and Innovation specialist and cross-functional teams. Conduct onboarding and certification training programs, such as Impella Product Training (IPT). Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of the training and certification programs. Update and modify training materials to ensure actuality with the latest best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, e.g. specialized Nursing or other Clinical/Technical fields (e.g. radiology, cardiovascular technician, perfusion, engineering). Extensive experience in Cath Lab/ Heart Surgery, and/or ICU/CCU. Minimum of 3 years' experience with the Impella heart pump portfolio and other MCS devices Fluent in English and at least one additional language required (business fluent, oral and written). Excellent didactic skills with experience in delivering complex content to diverse audiences. Recognized as a clinical expert with strong self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, results-oriented, open-mindedness, teamwork and approachability. Strong communication skills to discuss products and therapy in an academic environment. Ability to positively influence all levels of management and employees. Willingness to travel a minimum of 75%.
