Within the Food, Health & Nutrition Division we are looking for a qualified and motivated:Global Supply Manager/ Food Health Nutrition & Rotex Business Integration Lead EU/ ASIA/other (m/w/d)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and align Division-related GSM strategy and programs across all OPCOs/BUs/Sites in scope by leveraging global HI GSM Category Management (Indirect and Direct) and defined GSM processes and excellence toolsOrchestrate Division-related GSM performance across all relevant HI GSM functions (Category Manager, Supplier Account Manager) to meet Division/BU objectives and to assure effective execution of globally defined GSM strategies and integration/synergy programsDevelop, define and deploy operational and strategic GSM processes and standards in alignment to the globally defined HI policies and local requirementsAssure early involvement of Project Sourcing in all business-critical projects to assure impact by applying Advanced Project Sourcing principles if applicableRepresent HI GSM (entire scope) as extended member of the Division Leadership Team during the SDP related processes (SA, SF, SDP) and all ongoing related Team meetingsAnalyze and evaluate value chain and supply base performance levels against Division-related requirements (quality, delivery, productivity, innovation, sustainability) to understand opportunities and risksConduct cross-functional BU/OPCO GSM productivity conventions to build a strong funnel of measures to achieve the Division/BU targetsLeverage cost category and market insights provided by Cost Category Managers to constantly challenge the status quo and bring compelling solutions to the table which matter to Division GSM prioritiesAlign GSM targets with Division leadership related to productivity, quality, cost and supply base optimizationAssure that GSM set-up, processes and policies are deployed, understood and applied within Division by managing respective stakeholder network and communicationProgram manage the execution of Division/BU related GSM funnel measures together with the other GSM functions Initiate and organize effective crises management in case of business critical and systemic supply base/supplier-related issues Conduct GSM BU review meeting and Market update as defined in the monthly GSM Performance CadenceEnsure that all GSM people in scope are trained, enabled and empoweredLead the GSM network across all assigned people (technically and disciplinary) to ensure effective best-practice exchange and full involvement into the global HI GSM set—upHR management and people development based on defined targets if applicableDevelop Project Sourcing capability and capacity (processes, systems, talent and skills) to assure early involvement in Sales and R&D projectsReview customer project pipeline regarding GSM priorities to align involvement levels of Project GSM Managers with Division/BU leaders based on agreed project targets and aligned scope of workProgram manage execution of assigned Project GSM Project sourcing activities (Customer and R&D projects)Qualifications and skillsMinimum: Bachelor degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent; Preferred: Master degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalentDesired: Separate expert level certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Design to Cost and Project Management methodologies> 5 years’ experience as Category Manager and/or Strategic Buyer> 3 years’ experience as Project Sourcing ManagerMin. 1 year experience as Team leadSeveral years’ experience in global sourcing in European, Asian and North American marketsSeveral years’ successful in global Project and Program Management and in leading interdisciplinary cross-functional teamProject management and Experienced in M&AAdvanced Negotiation skills Advanced analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to drive results and use the relevant IT tools (e.g. PowerBI)Advanced knowledge about Source-2-Contract processes and Supplier Contract ManagementTotal Cost of Ownership business case calculation incl. make vs. buyGSM processes & governanceSupply base risk managementProficient skills in Business EnglishUnderstanding and implementing our Core Values and the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM)Who we are: Hillenbrand (NYSE: HI) is a global industrial company that provides highly engineered, mission-critical processing equipment and solutions to customers in over 100 countries around the world.
