The Role: What to expect
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products, and information. This role focuses on logistics, inventory management, handling of warranty cases and process optimization to meet high standards of operational efficiency and quality. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure alignment across functions and drive overall supply chain performance.
This role requires a mix of office- and warehouse-based work as well as coordination with external logistics and production partners.
Role Responsibilities: What you will do
Supply Chain and Inventory Optimization:
* Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and ensure product and spare-part availability.
* Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to align supply chain activities with procurement strategies.
Logistics and Distribution:
* Manage logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods.
* Negotiate transportation and warehousing contracts, maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Production Planning and Coordination:
* Work with contract manufacturers to develop production schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Utilize data analytics to assess supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Prepare and present regular reports on cost savings, supplier performance, inventory levels, and logistics metrics.
* Use data-driven insights to forecast demand and support production planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Partner with legal, finance, production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities with business objectives.
* Support the quality assurance team in maintaining high standards for product quality and compliance.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* At least 4-5 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally in the technology, manufacturing, or logistics industry.
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management best practices.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Fluent in German and English
