Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for candidates motivated to drive forward interdisciplinary methods and technologies at the intersection of data science and robotics towards real-world industrial applications. We are offering an internship with the possibility of a subsequent Master's thesis contract (in case of successful internship). Please apply if you are interested in both. Tasks you will be looking at: • Data generation and processing • Familiarization with robotics technologies • Creation and training of deep learning models • Selection and fine-tuning of open-source models • Looking into state-of-the-art research in multimodal deep learning • Offering your own ideas and solutions
Qualifications for the role
* Currently studying computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related field.
* Strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.
* Experience in data processing and training deep learning models using PyTorch.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
* Structured, goal-oriented, and organized work style.
* Strong team collaboration skills and effectiveness in collaborative environments.
* Quick learner with a strong motivation to acquire new skills and technologies.
