Your mission
We are a dynamic deep tech startup with a dedicated team of about 50 employees, committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. Our fast-growing company is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our Finance Department. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
* Administer employee benefits programs and address employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and compensation.
* Support in regular performance reviews and provide guidance.
* Support Operations Department with career development plans and training opportunities.
* Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and facilitate effective communication across departments.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
* Aid in the preparation of monthly pay slips and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
* Support with time reporting and controlling, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours and compliance with labor regulations.
* Support the Operations Department in strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
* Support the organization of employee engagement activities and team-building events.
Your profile
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
* In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Fluent in German and English.
Desired Additional Skills:
* Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
* Experience with HR analytics and metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
* Knowledge of deep tech industry trends and challenges.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR issues.
