We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to take charge of our end-to-end installation services. As the Senior Manager Installation, you will drive the performance and continuous improvement of our value stream, ensuring operational excellence at every stage. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams, implementing lean methodologies, and standardizing engineering processes to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
This position can be based in the Netherlands, Germany, or UK.
Main tasks and responsibilities
* Establish strong safety culture and leads towards 0 LTI.
* Work closely with the installation managers, service managers, and workshop managers to define improvement plans and objectives in line with the service operations strategy roadmap.
* Contribute to business operations strategy development by employing Six Sigma and LEAN methodology across all phases (from product configuration to product delivery).
* Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless coordination throughout the installation value stream.
* Accountable for operational performance on global installation centers.
* Manage the installation budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
* Competent use of statistics related to business improvement metrics and operational performance.
* Build a highly capable team of leaders to execute advancements in waste reduction, capacity expansion, and flow acceleration.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience.
* 7+ years in a leadership role within relevant industry environment.
* LSS Green or Black Belt (preferred).
* Proven experience in managing complex projects and operations.
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing including leading Kaizen events.
* Experience in Service environments.
* Change management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Experience in SAP PP module.
* Ability to travel mostly in Europe and US up to 50 days / yr.
